• The ongoing development of postgraduate programs aligns with the Vice Chancellor’s vision of making Kabarak University a premier postgraduate university within the next ten years.

Kabarak University boasts the discipline and holistic development offered to its community. That is why, if you want to pursue biblical studies, Kabarak University should be your next destination.

Under the Department of Theology and Biblical Studies, housed within the School of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences, two main programs thrive: the Bachelor of Theology and the Bachelor of Chaplaincy. These degree programs have been registered and approved by the Commission of University Education (CUE).

Diploma programs, also offered under the department, have been registered with statutory bodies.

According to the Head of the Department of Theology and Biblical Studies, Dr. Catherine Cheruiyot, this should give prospective students the confidence to choose Kabarak University for their studies.

“Our prospective students should know that we offer programs that have been registered, thus there is no cause for worry,” she says.

Dr. Catherine believes that the holistic manner of teaching at Kabarak places the university a notch above others in the country.

“I take pride in saying that what we offer here at Kabarak University is unique because of our policies. In fact, our quality objective is to provide holistic education through a biblical perspective, research, innovation, and community engagement,” she adds.

Beyond academics, Kabarak University provides its students with opportunities to gain knowledge outside traditional educational programs. “When we receive students, we expect them not only to learn and accumulate knowledge but also to participate in community work and mentoring programs,” she explains.

The institution is committed to the constant improvement of its programs and is set to launch master’s and PhD programs.

“We have a number of programs in development, mostly in postgraduate studies. We have master’s programs underway, and our PhD programs have progressed to the senate for approval. They are awaiting submission to the Commission of University Education (CUE) for their final approval and inspection before launch,” she adds.
