Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) leader Kalonzo Musyoka has matched his political platform with the forceful demands of Kenya's youth.

Hosting over 700 student leaders, representing 224 institutions across the country, Kalonzo Musyoka on September 29, 2025, at the Wiper Party Headquarters in Karen, Nairobi, shared his vision of championing the core agenda of the Gen Z movement.

The gathering, which included party officials and parliamentarians, was transformed into a foundational event for the WPF’s campaign strategy.

Musyoka describes the Gen Z demands as "the bare minimum" for a functioning state.

“What you, the Gen Z, are asking for is the bare minimum. You demand accountability, zero corruption, jobs, and a conducive environment for SMEs,” he said.

Kalonzo accused State House of being "converted into a crime scene," citing "bribery of Kenyans in broad daylight" while crucial public sectors, such as education, remain underfunded.

Musyoka has connected his political journey to a long-held national aspiration: accessible education. He passionately recalled his 2007 presidential campaign, emphasizing his role in achieving free primary education alongside the late President Mwai Kibaki.

“Free education has been my dream since 2007 when I ran for president, and together with President Mwai Kibaki we made it a reality,” he said.

The WFP leader has contrasted this with the present, accusing the current administration of systemic failure, specifically pointing to the crippling shortage of funds for school capitation—a sign, he argued, of warped national priorities.

This failure, Musyoka contended, ultimately galvanized the youth. He said the Gen Z-led protests on June 25, 2024, as the day "Kenya's destiny was altered," recognizing the moment as a decisive shift against elite corruption.
