• The fear of judgment has led many church kids suffer in silence. Many are caught in a cycle of falling short of impossible standards, feeling guilty and burning out or turning away from the church entirely.

The fact that just because someone goes to church is automatically a good person is ambiguous.

Let’s talk about the so called “church boys” and “church girls.” These are young male and female who regularly attend church services and are often involved in church activities, often implying a well-behaved and morally upright character.

In this society, church boys and girls are often expected to be perfect, morally upright, respectful, responsible, and spiritually strong. However, just like any other human being, these individuals are not immune to bad virtues.

This societal pressure can lead to double living- living two separate and distinct lives, often with conflicting personas and behaviors.

There’s a beautiful and powerful story behind those who genuinely walk in faith, love, and purpose. However, many people use the “church kid” title to gain trust especially in politics and in relationships and later turn to be manipulative, abusive and arrogant.

The fear of judgment has led many church kids suffer in silence. Many are caught in a cycle of falling short of impossible standards, feeling guilty and burning out or turning away from the church entirely.

It is time we realize that church boys and girls are not perfect human beings. They live in a world full of pressure and temptation, but many still choose purity over popularity and good over evil.
