Mr. Ibu was one of Nollywood's most recognizable and beloved faces, having starred in over 200 movies since his debut in the 1990s.

He was also a singer, releasing two singles in 2020, and a philanthropist, supporting various causes and charities.

Kate Henshaw lost her mother earlier today, and Mr Ibu suffered cardiac arrest, according to his manager of 24 years, Don Nwuzor.
