The job recruitment initiative at Jesus winner ministry church Roysambu, Nairobi enters the second day after being launched on March 5, 2025 by the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection Dr. Alfred Mutua.
In his post on X, Dr. Alfred said that this initiative is in line with the presidents vision to create more job opportunities for Kenyans abroad.
Thousands of job seekers turned up, eager to seize these life-changing opportunities. According to the labor CS the initiative is offering employment in key sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, construction, transportation, and maritime industries.
"Beyond providing employment, this initiative strengthens Kenya’s position in the global workforce, allowing our skilled and hardworking citizens to contribute to the economies of their host countries while sending back remittances that support families and boost our own economy." Dr. Mutua said.
Youth unemployment is a significant challenge in Kenya. According to Federation of Kenya employers ( FKE) the percentage of youth (15 – 34 year olds), who form 35 percent of the Kenyan population, have the highest unemployment rate of 67 percent.

This recruitment drive aims to reduce the highest rate of unemployment among the youths. "Together, we are empowering our youth, reducing unemployment, and building a brighter future for our people." Dr. Mutua said.
