During an interview on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 night, Ojienda stated that he has never disrespected Raila, who is his party leader.

The Senator also emphasized that he is an ODM party member for life and he has no apology for that.

Ojienda stood firm on his stance on the development of his people, the people of Kisumu County in the midst of chaos and threat of suspension from the party.

Last week, the ODM Party National Executive Council Okayed the removal of five rebel MPs from the party.

The NEC instructed the party to kick out the five from the party register for advancing the interests of rival political outfits.

'The report by Daily Nation on the conduct of the Party Members describes Mr. Ojienda as rude, citing the use of derogatory language against party officials, including Mr. Odinga.

 It also describes him as the leader of the rebel MPs. He told the DC that he would break any law to get what he wanted.

The Senator denied the claims of his misconduct against the party.
