The University has three main intakes; January, May and September. The January intake is still ongoing, with the university offering exciting new courses.
Aside from the general courses which take a duration of between 4 to 6 years, you are also offered the convenience of enrolling for short courses.
This year, Kabarak University has pioneered a series of exciting new courses cutting across seven schools.
The School of Business and Economics has added an array of proficiencies, including Poetry and Confectionery, Barista Training/Coffee Craftsmanship, and Food and Beverage Service. These courses will run for 3 months under a face-to-face and blended delivery method.
Furthermore, School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences has welcomed the Certificate of Proficiency in Competence-Based Education, which will run for one semester and will be offered in the main and city campuses.
Other short courses also include Laboratory Quality Management Systems, Laboratory Biosafety and Biosecurity, Laboratory Data Management and Analysis, Malaria Microscopy, Molecular Techniques in Laboratory Medicine, Advanced Techniques in Laboratory Diagnosis of Mycobacteria, and Phlebotomy. These are offered under the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and will run for 5 days under a blended delivery model in Kabarak University's main campus.
Aside from undergraduate studies, Kabarak University also offers an array of studies including Masters and PhD courses across all schools.
Some of the programmes include Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (PHD), Doctor of Philosophy is IT Security and Audit, Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology and Doctor of Philosophy in Music.
Masters courses also include Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Education (Curriculum Studies), Master of Education (Guidance and Counseling), Master of Education (Management and Leadership), Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (MSC), Master of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Environmental Science.
