• What if I told you that whether or not you’ve begun to actualize your goals doesn’t matter?  Everyone moves at their own pace, and it’s perfectly okay to take your time.

It has become a culture for humans to have resolutions when starting a particular chapter of their lives. Most of us choose the beginning of the year as the perfect time. It is because we measure our achievements based on time.

But what if I told you that whether or not you’ve begun to actualize your goals doesn’t matter? Everyone moves at their own pace, and it’s perfectly okay to take your time.

Consider this: the year can end without achieving everything you desire, which is perfectly acceptable. There is no need to be hard on yourself.

Change does not adhere to a strict timeline, and the pressure of yearly resolutions can create unnecessary anxiety. Instead, embrace gradual changes with self-love and compassion. You will get there, I promise.

January has been a varied experience for all of us. Some may have started the year on a high note, checking off success after success, while others might still be searching for clarity on what they truly want. Don't feel pressured if you are in the latter group; clarity will come in time.

Success takes years to build; it is not an overnight endeavour or something that can be rushed into a monthly or yearly framework.

I know it is only February, and there are still many months ahead. If you are not quite where you hoped to be with your resolutions, that’s okay. Allow yourself the grace to progress at your own pace. Take your time.
