Kenyan Athlete Faith Kipyegon has amazed the world by being ranked top female athlete in the world by IAAF.

This was revealed by her interview with CNN International Correspondent Larry Madowo at her home in Kaptagat, Kenya on a live interview today Friday July 28, 2023.

Faith revealed her sports journey stating the highs and lows of it all to a point of breaking three world records: Winnings Mile, 1500m and 5000m.

“Breaking world records especially the 1500m world record inspires me because it is something I tried last year but it was not successful but I didn’t lose hope, I still had in my mind that one day the world record will be there,” she said.

She further went on to reveal that she was inspired to wake up and push herself to the limit knowing it will be possible in 2023.

Being referred to as SUPERHUMAN she says motivates her to work extra and put more efforts to make it happen and is happy about that and still working to be the best.

“Not many are Superhuman but I am,"she said.

“I didn’t know how to use Nike, I preferred running barefoot since I felt comfortable,” she confirmed.

Faith has come out to be a motivation not only to Kenyan women and girls but also to the world at large for being accorded world recognition in the sports arena.
