Moi High School Kabarak has officially declared its goal of achieving a mean score of 11.32 in the upcoming Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), placing its Class of 2025 firmly on the path of excellence.

The announcement was made on July 13, 2025 during the school’s Prayer Day celebration, a powerful and symbolic send-off for the 407 candidates affectionately known as “the Elishas.”

Dressed in crisp uniform and guided by four years of rigorous learning, the students gathered with teachers, parents, and guests in a moment of spiritual reflection and hopeful anticipation.

“We are confident our students will deliver,” said Principal Madam Elisheba Cheruiyot. “They have been trained, they are grounded, and they will not only conquer the exams—but the world. As we present them to the Lord, we declare this is a miracle class.”

Held at the school grounds in Kabarak, the event brought together students, teachers, parents, and esteemed guests in a spirit of thanksgiving and anticipation.

“Our students are going to excel in their exams without interruption. That is our prayer,” said Rev. Paul Ombati, the school chaplain. “When we walk, let us remember peace, love, and unity.”

His message set the tone for a day filled with optimism, anchored in faith and the school’s enduring values.

The school Headgirl Seanice Khafafa reflecting on the Class of 2025’s four-year journey said, “Our journey from 2022 has been tough. We’ve studied, struggled, and now, in togetherness, we chase the victory at the finish line.”

She extended heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and parents whose unwavering support has fueled their ambition: “To our teachers, thank you for your support and selfless love. To our parents, thank you for your financial and emotional strength. The late nights and early mornings will all be worth it. The Elishas are going to make you proud.”

This year’s candidates are targeting a mean grade of 11.32, a testament to their focus and determination. “The ball is now in our court,” Khafafa added. “Let us keep going.”

On behalf of the parents, Linda Bosire honored the school’s founding vision: “We are here because of the relentless effort of President Daniel Arap Moi. We appreciate the family and the Board of Trustees who have worked tirelessly to keep this institution a center of excellence.”

She thanked the faculty and inspired the students to walk in faith and perseverance:

“With effort and grace, you can do all things.”

The Vice Chancellor of Kabarak University, also in attendance, offered hopeful words for the future. “We shall be here in 2026 to celebrate your results.”

Representing the School Board of Directors Chairman, Prof. Kiplagat relayed well-wishes from Gideon Moi: “He remembers the candidates and wishes you a fruitful exam period.”
