The National Police Service has invited members of the public to participate in the selection process for the proposed Kenya Police Service uniform.
This is according to the post on X App on August 29, 2023, that has caught the reactions of most Kenyans who have reacted to the post.
The exercise is scheduled for three days at different stations within the week: August 29, 2023 - Kenya Police Pavilion, South C, Nairobi; Wednesday, August 30, 2023 - Central Region at Ruring'u Police Training College, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at National Police College-Main Campus Kiganjo aims to reveal the new Kenya Police Uniform and seek public approval before police are issued.
Public participation in a nation contributes to better decisions since decision-makers have more complete information – in the form of additional facts, values, and perspectives obtained through public input – to bring to bear on the decision process and service delivery.
Kenyans are happy with the decision but call for minimal adjustments.

Consider changing from a blue uniform to a white shirt, black pants, and black boots. No pockets, please, on shirts or pants.
@Mr_Murage
Make the Kenyan flag 🇰🇪 a bit subtle. It’s overshadowing the uniform. Also, I prefer the current one. We were kind of getting used to it 🤷🏾♂️
@Kalenjinsonline
Ziko sawa, Size ya pockets tu ipunguzwe 😅

I think the current uniform is wonderful, and we already love it. The current ones look duller, but maybe take photos when officers wear them. It will help us make a better judgment between the proposed one.
