According to the Constitution of Kenya, under the Children Act, any individual with parental responsibility who willfully assaults or neglects a child commits an offense. The law stipulates that such actions can result in a fine of up to 200,000 shillings or imprisonment for up to five years, or both. The severity of the abuse depicted in the video raises significant concerns about the enforcement of these laws.
