New Dawn: Manchester United Humiliates Everton 4-0

In a thrilling English Premier League (EPL) match on December 1, 2024, Manchester United thrashed Everton 4-0. The game played at Old Trafford saw Amorim getting his first win in the EPL since his appointment as the head coach in the Manchester United side. This is the biggest win for the Red Devils this season. 

Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee scored brilliant doubles to give Manchester United the win. In the 34th minute, Rashford scored the first goal after a brilliant shot he made slightly inside the 18-yard box was deflected and went past Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Seven minutes later, Joshua Zirkzee, at the 41st minute scored the second goal after receiving the ball from Amad. 

Less than 30 seconds into the second half, Manchester United put the game beyond reach with a shot from Rashford that went straight between Everton's goalkeeper, making it three goals. Amad then created the fourth goal, and J. Zirkzee had a brilliant finish.  

However, Manchester United might face difficulties as their key players, Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo, were suspended after receiving a yellow card each in the second half. This becomes their 5thbooking for the season. 

The win helped Manchester United move to the second half of the EPL table, currently at position 9 with 19 points against leading Liverpool with 39 points. The win came at a critical time when Manchester United fans craved a meaningful win, as it also upholds trust and confidence in Ruben Amorim as the new manager.
