• I am sure you know by now that this is a sad generation of people who smile and laugh in public, but once in bed, before sleeping, endless sadness lingers through the night.

Have you ever gone through a harrowing situation that you never really recovered from? If you have, then you will understand what I am saying. Pain is a very disturbing sensory experience that humans have never really known its cure.

That is why it is said, ‘Time heals all wounds.’ Well, it is because the human race has never understood pain. Think about it: Someone does something horrific to you. You will feel awful, and your emotions may be noticeable through your tone, mood, and behaviour.

But after some days, it is no longer seen that you are in distress. It is because, with time, you learn how to live with it because life has to move on. But this does not erase the fact that you still remember the days when you felt emotionally lost. And it breaks you from time to time, and if you do not heal it in time, it might as well lead you to depression.

I am sure you know by now that this is a sad generation of people who smile and laugh in public, but once in bed, before sleeping, endless sadness lingers through the night.

Since there is no cure for pain, it is wise to just let it go—let go of what you can’t control, let go of the past. If it is painful, leave it behind and move on with your life. You will be okay, I promise.
