Under the SabaSaba March for our Lives themed day, Kenyans have decided to come out to demand justice and better living standards as they also demand a reduction in the cost of living and fuel prices.

In a rally that was held in Kamukunji on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, opposition leader Raila Odinga announced July 7 popularly known as Saba Saba as the day for anti-government protests and civil disobedience.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga had asked Kenyans to show up during the Sabasaba celebrations to demand their rights as citizens.

In a video posted on Twitter, Member of Parliament for Kiharu constituency Ndindi Nyoro  asked the Mt.Kenya people to show up tomorrow on the grand march to demonstrate against the high cost of living.

Kenyans also came out to welcome the march as they protest the bad governance in the country and the economic crisis.
