Kenya Morans, led by former Strathmore Leos boss Louis Kisia, have finalized their squad for the highly anticipated All Africa Games Rugby 7s tournament, which will take place in Accra, Ghana.

The team selection includes five players who showcased their skills during the Challenger Series in Uruguay, where Kenya 7s secured an impressive third-place finish.

Among the notable inclusions are George Ooro, who will co-captain the squad alongside Floyd Wabwire. Elvis Olukusi, Chrissant Ojwang, Dennis Abukuse, and Benson Salem, who all gained valuable experience in the Challenger Series, have also, earned their place in the squad.

The finalized team comprises a talented lineup from various clubs, including Mwamba's duo Steve Sikuta and Brian Mutugi, Kabras' duo Brian Mutua and William Muhanji, Quins' Cornelius Mokoro, and KCB's Austin Sikutwa.

The selection process aimed to bring together a strong and cohesive unit capable of competing at the highest level.

The pools for the All-African Games Rugby 7s competition have been revealed, with Kenya Morans set to compete in Pool A. In their group matches, they will face off against host nation Ghana and Egypt. The fourth opponent for Pool A has yet to be confirmed, adding an element of suspense to the tournament.

Other participating nations have been divided into three additional pools. Uganda is in Pool B alongside Tunisia, DR Congo, and Togo. Pool C features Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Niger. Lastly, Pool D consists of Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Libya, and Benin.
