A Kajiado woman burning her two children to death after she found out that the husband married a second wife does not sit well with Kenyans.

On June 27, 2023, a woman in Saina Kajiado County was rescued from a fire that her two children were not able to survive. According to interviewed witnesses, the woman had issues with her husband, after she found out that the husband had another wife.

The neighbors were unable to rescue the children aged two and eight from the raging fire.

They blame the woman for involving innocent children in her disagreements with the husband.

Netizens also condemn the behavior saying it was an act of inhumanity.

I think women should get to understand that in Africa Polygamy is allowed, a number of those with single wives do have side chics afadhali yule ameoa wa pili... Secondly if not okay sharing your husband, why can't you just quit, and find your own hubby? Why kill innocent kids?
