The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced 257 job vacancies as it moves to strengthen its workforce and enhance service delivery. The Authority, which serves as the National Revenue Collection Agency for the Government of Kenya, is seeking self-driven and results-oriented individuals to fill various positions.

The job openings include 7 officer-level roles in areas such as Data Integration, Revenue Assurance and Fraud Analytics, Security Tools Operations, Business Application Support, Data Centre Operations, and Knowledge Management.

Additionally, 200 graduate trainee positions and 50 driver slots have been advertised. Interested candidates are requested to visit KRA website for full job descriptions and specifications

KRA encouraged inclusivity in its recruitment drive, highlighting that, “KRA is committed to offering equal employment opportunities to both men and women, members of all ethnic groups and persons with disabilities. People with disabilities, the marginalized and the minorities are therefore encouraged to apply.”

Applicants are required to submit their applications through the KRA careers portal by September 8, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Successful candidates will also be expected to meet integrity requirements under Chapter Six of the Constitution, including providing a valid certificate of good conduct, valid certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a valid tax compliance certificate from KRA, and a current credit report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

The Authority cautioned candidates against fraudulent practices during the application process, noting that presenting fake documents or misrepresenting qualifications would lead to automatic disqualification.

It further stressed that the process is entirely free, reminding applicants that, “KRA does not charge any fee for application, processing and interviewing, at any stage of the recruitment process.”
