The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has announced 2000 new job opportunities in Dubai for youth in Kilifi, Mombasa, and Kwale counties.

The recruitment drive, led by Cabinet Secretary for Labour Dr. Alfred Mutua, will take place from May 26 to May 29, 2025, at designated venues in Malindi, Kilifi, Mombasa, and Ukunda.

"Available positions include Motorcycle Riders (Delivery/Boda Boda) with a salary of Kshs 80000–120000, Construction Helpers with a salary of Kshs 35000, and Gardeners (Landscaping) with a salary of Kshs 31000–45000," said Mutua.

All packages are tax-free and include medical insurance, accommodation, and, in some roles, meals.

To qualify, candidates must have a valid Kenyan passport or proof of passport application. Motorcycle riders must hold a license.

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) will be on-site to assist. Interested individuals are advised to dress neatly and professionally; poorly dressed individuals will not be considered. Most roles require candidates to be under 40 years old.

Officials from the Youth Fund, NTSA, DCI, and the Labour Ministry will be present to assist with funding, licenses, and good conduct certificates.

Dr. Mutua  has encouraged all interested applicants to arrive early, remain disciplined, and seize this rare opportunity to work abroad with full government support. Recruitment will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and latecomers will not be considered.

“Mbele iko sawa!” he added, promising more international job placements in the near future.
