Today's major announcements demonstrate the boundless possibilities that AI can offer creators, artists, and the creative business.

Dream Screen, a new generative AI tool enabling creative expression on Shorts, has been released.

Dream Screen, a new experimental feature from YouTube, will be available. It will let producers add AI-generated video or image backgrounds to their Shorts by simply putting an idea into a prompt for makers.

The only limit to the fresh, fantastical environments that creators can create for their Shorts with Dream Screen is their creativity.

Shorts was first introduced in 2020, and since then, it has grown to receive more than 2 billion monthly active users and over 70 billion daily views worldwide.

Aloud, an AI-powered dubbing tool is now available on YouTube so creators can easily reach viewers outside of their native tongue.

The feature is being tested in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and is only available to selected creators.

To assist creators in brainstorming, YouTube Studio will use generative AI to generate ideas for videos and create rough drafts. These insights are tailored for each channel based on what viewers are already watching and interested in.

More than 70% of creators surveyed by YouTube claimed that early iterations of AI-powered tools in YouTube Studio have aided in developing and testing video ideation.
