• This just goes to show how our leaders are out of touch with reality. I heard CS Chelugui in the background saying the prices being shown are for 5 litres. Meaning a litre would be 70. Reminds me when Uhuru was asked the price of bread and he said 250-@manyambizo

On Citizen TV live on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 with Sam Gituku , the journalist had a heated conversation with the CS Trade Moses Kuria on the prices of cooking oil in Kenyan Supermarkets.

This was followed by a vigorous debate on where the prices were low and high respectively only for Sam Gituku to prove the CS wrong by airing live from a supermarket to prove their facts right.

Kenyans have come out to , others in defense of the CS while others were happy since the media has gone ahead to prove to the government that whatever they speak about is never what is happening to the common citizen and that the cost of living is still high unlike what they are trying to portray.

@tonnie_mapienga

"Sam, you project yourself to be the most watched TV station but your figures aren't factual. That's why your Azimio lost."......"We have two hours Sam. Where is the hurry for. Let's go to Ruiru😂😂."..... Moses Kuria after being shown the factual truth.

@kong8900

I warned you people. Don't go to Gituku with fake figures. You will be embarrassed. Sasa ona.

@edqvistwere

"You must be factual, there might be someone watching you from a supermarket... "Citizen TV proceeds to report from a supermarket in Eldoret to support their claims."We will be patient with you, just go to the supermarket in Ruiru."Surely, when did the rain start beating us?
