Such bans come days after Kenya’s parliament was faced with a petition filed seeking to ban Tiktok in Kenya which was faced with criticisms in the august house as Members of Parliament disagreed on the same with others seeking regulation other than ban.

Kenyans have come out to react to Somalia’s decision terming it insensitive of the technological trends and backwardness since tiktok is a commercial hub for most young generation where they get income from in the midst of tough economy and unemployment.

Others were not left behind as they made funny comments on the issue saying it was bound to happen anyway.

Kenya should as well regulate tiktok and ban telegram.

@PillowsAndDuvet

Somalia hukua na internet kumbe? Anyway they could've just regulated the content rather than banning. It's a way most millennials and Gen Z earn a living.
