The University’s remarkable achievements at the 2024 Nakuru National Agricultural Show have once again highlighted its unparalleled commitment to addressing real-world challenges through groundbreaking initiatives.

The theme of this year’s event, which centred around Education and Research, provided the perfect platform for Kabarak University to showcase its remarkable strides in these critical domains.

During the opening of the 2024 Nakuru National Agricultural Show on July 3, 2024, among the University’s highlighted initiatives were the impactful “Mama’s Hub,” aimed at empowering women, the innovative “EVIS” (Electronic Voting Information System), and the transformative “DBNiM” (Digital-Based Nutrition Intervention Model) – all of which demonstrated Kabarak’s relentless pursuit of solutions that positively impact communities.

Kabarak University’s state-of-the-art digital incubator further cemented its status as a pioneering technology and entrepreneurship hub.

The institution’s expertise was recognized with the prestigious first-place Best University Stand category award, solidifying its position as a trailblazer in higher education.

Moreover, Kabarak University’s remarkable achievement extended to the Best Stand in Research and Development in Education category, where it secured the first runner-up position.

This accolade underscores the University’s unwavering commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering groundbreaking discoveries through its robust research ecosystem.

Established in 2002 under the leadership of Kenya’s second president, Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, Kabarak University has rapidly become one of the country’s premier institutions of higher learning.

With its picturesque 600-acre campus just 29 km from Nakuru City, the University has evolved into a comprehensive academic powerhouse, offering diverse programs through its various schools and faculties.
