The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a four-day traffic disruption on Mombasa Road, a vital artery in Nairobi's transport system. The disruption will commence on June 13, 2024, and end on June 16, 2024.
In a notice, KeNHA highlighted the area near Katani Road Junction along Mombasa-bound lanes that will be affected by the change.
"KeNHA wishes to notify the public that a section of Mombasa Road (A8) near Katani Road Junction will experience traffic disruption along the Mombasa bound lanes from June 13, 2024 - to June 16, 2024," read part of the notice by KeNHA Director General Eng. Kung'u Ndung'u.
During this closure, KeNHA advises motorists to use the two available lanes and approach the affected area cautiously.
"KeNHA advises motorists to follow the proposed traffic management plan and corporate with the police and traffic marshals who will be on site," KeNHA said.
