The Chepsaita cross-country run is a memorable event aimed at transforming the lives of young children. The main objective is to make a difference and give back to the Chepsaita community.
It will be held at Chepkemel Secondary School in Eldoret Uasin Gishu County on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The 2024 Chepsaita cross country is more than a race that aims to empower communities through sports and education. In addition to a cash prize for the grand winner, the first 100 finishers in each race receive scholarships to help the needy children in the Chepsaita Community access education.
Participants can run for their scholarship, their child’s scholarship or a scholarship for another needy child. The organizers have ensured that the scholarships go to the right schools supporting the selected children’s education.
This year, the organizers upgraded the learning facilities at Chepsaita Secondary School with newly constructed, state-of-the-art classrooms and dormitories that cost 70 billion Kshs. The improvements will provide students with a safe environment to learn, grow and pursue their dreams.
Everyone is gearing up for the Chepsaita cross country, from elite athletes to young participants. They are uniting to run together for more than just the finish line; they are running to create education, opportunity and a promising future for the young people.
