In a series of videos shared by Cyprian Nyakundi on X, Men dressed in black are seen walking up and down a hallway before finally emerging with Gaitho and leading towards waiting vehicles. He was allegedly arrested last night by a contingent of 10 police, and his family and friends do not know his whereabouts.

A section of Kenyans has taken to X to express their concerns about missing Gaitho. They claim that arrogant cops arrested him without any warrant of arrest. #FreeFrancisGaitho is currently trending at 26 million on X, as Kenyans are questioning the whereabouts of the blogger. Led by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, they rebuke the abductions happening in the country and demand the release of all abductees.

Before his arrest, Gaitho shared two posts alerting everyone of the police surrounding his residence.
