- In his statement on X, he assured all Kenyans that there would be no special lists or preferential treatment for any candidates, including government officials.
The Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management Moses Kuria, recently made an announcement emphasizing the transparency and fairness of the NYS recruitment process.
In his statement on X, he assured all Kenyans that there would be no special lists or preferential treatment for any candidates, including government officials.
The Cabinet Secretary confirmed that all 15,000 NYS Servicemen and Servicewomen will be recruited from Sub-county recruitment centers.
According to Kuria, to maintain transparency, the successful candidates will have their names posted on a public portal within one hour after the closure of the recruitment exercise.
This step eliminates any possibility of creating special lists or providing preferential treatment to certain individuals.

“All the youth in this country deserve an opportunity. President William Ruto and I will give this fair opportunity to all young people without fear or favour,” he added.
