In a recent statement, The East Africa Legislative Assembly [EALA] Member of Parliament Kanini Kega commended President Ruto for his decisive actions in driving forward the long-term transformation of Kenya.

Kega praised President Ruto's willingness to make difficult decisions, acknowledging that these choices may not be popular in the present but will ultimately benefit the nation in the future.

Kanini Kega addressed President Ruto, emphasizing his unique leadership qualities and the conscious decisions he has made.

Kega applauded President Ruto for his ability to make tough choices, a trait only a few leaders possessed. According to him, while many leaders opt for popular decisions in the short term, President Ruto's commitment to the housing project demonstrates his firmness and prudence.

"Your Excellency, you have made a conscious decision. You are a unique leader because you have made hard decisions that very few people make. In most cases, we make popular decisions, but the decision that you have taken, especially on the issue of the housing project, is a firm and sound decision," he said.

One of the specific decisions that drew praise from Kega was President Ruto's commitment to the Affordable housing project. Despite potential challenges and initial unpopularity, President Ruto recognized the long-term benefits this initiative would bring to the nation.

Kega acknowledged that while the decision may not be popular at present, he firmly believed that Kenyans would look back in two to three years and acknowledge President Ruto's foresight and wisdom.

"It might not be popular now, but 2 or 3 years from now, Kenyans will go back and say that His Excellency Dr William Ruto was right," he added.

Kega's commendation also included his commitment to support President Ruto's future endeavours. He was strongly willing to stand at the forefront of the 2027 elections to return President Ruto to the State House.

"I will be there on the frontline in 2027 to ensure that we take you back to the statehouse because you will have transformed our country," he added.
