We will have a master plan, making sure stadia are built to international standards. Kipchoge Keino in Eldoret, Nyayo in Nairobi, Moi Stadium in Kisumu to International standards to help return international football to Kenya in a viable way -President Ruto.

The transformation of sports into a viable vehicle for transforming our country has in the recent past been faced with obstacles that have reduced the prominence of the sports sector. This is due to the fact that the sports sector is faced with corruption scandals that led to Kenyans demanding the arrest of Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa and his illegal office post.

While the football fraternity is facing scandals, the athletes turned a blind eye to such issues and brought glory to the nation a week ago in Budapest.

While speaking at the Jumba la Talanta house during its opening and awarding of world champions in the recently concluded world athletics championships in Budapest, Hungary which brought victory to the country, having a great win, President William Ruto has come out to defend the issue of incompletion of national stadia around the country.

While speaking at the event, he assured the sports fraternity of all the national stadia’s completion to international standards to foster sports within the country and the region at large.

Every athlete who represented the country made a very remarkable performance in the tough competition and still brought victory to the nation, such great talents.

The President has also urged Talanta Hela Youths to invest in their talents amicably to enhance talent monetization and foster growth, converting passion into livelihood.
