The Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Dr. Alfred Mutua says the National Job Recruitment Programme, suspended on November 27, 2025 is still on hold till further notice.
"Despite the official announcement made across all Ministry communication channels and my social media platforms, reports indicate that some individuals are still turning up at recruitment stations,” said Dr. Mutua.
CS Mutua has clarified that that the only ongoing recruitment exercise is the Kisumu recruitment drive, scheduled for Friday, 7th to Saturday, 8th February 2025, on the sidelines of the Nyanza Investment Conference, targeting job seekers from Nyanza counties.
“There are currently no other active recruitment activities under the Ministry’s mandate,” he added.
