- Following the directive and the urge by the Hon. Moses Wetangula, the National Assembly has since published a form that Kenyans countrywide must fill out.
In response to the directive from National Assembly Speaker Hon. Moses Wetangula, the National Assembly has published a public participation form regarding the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. This form is now available for Kenyans nationwide to fill out, having been circulated in three major Kenyan dailies on October 3, 2024. It can also be downloaded online for completion and submission.
The form includes sections for personal details and the opportunity to express views in support of or against the proposed impeachment motion. Supporters are encouraged to specify the grounds for their agreement as outlined in the motion.
The Special Motion alleges that Deputy President Gachagua has:

2. Contradicted Government Policy: Issued unilateral public statements that conflict with collectively adopted government policies, challenging the President’s role as a symbol of national unity.
