"They oppose affordable housing, the vaccination of cattle to eliminate diseases, changing the system to save our universities, and even Universal Health Coverage. They oppose government projects and even offerings in the church," said Ruto.
He claimed that leaders are working to sabotage government development initiatives. He described it as if they were obsessed with a dirty spirit of opposition.
"There is a dirty spirit of opposition—opposing everything," Ruto said.
"Evil Spirits: stop criticizing every Government project," he added.

The president categorically expressed his disappointment as some leaders, even from Taita Taveta, criticized the project. He also noted the importance of the Devki Iron Ore Pelletization Plant in Kenya and the Brooder region. He noted that the industry would reduce dependency on imported Iron.
"The expansion of the industry will boost local manufacturing and reduce dependency on imported iron," he said.
The industry will also reduce importation as the Iron ore that was exported to other countries and later imported into the country as finished products will be processed in the factory.
